The Sheffield Parents’ Conference

In June 2011, many parents attended our City Wide Parents’ Event at the Mega Centre.

The purpose of this was to actively involve parents in the design of education services in Sheffield and to shape the priorities of the new City Wide Learning Body (CWLB). Parents took part in a number of activities and through these set priorities for the CWLB, which were accepted by the Board in July 2011.

A considerable amount of work has been undertaken in the last 2 years to ensure these priorities have been reflected in the work of the CWLB.

Now – on Monday 1 July 2013 – we want to report back to you on the progress of these priorities at The Sheffield Parents’ Conference.

This is also an opportunity to tell you about the work (and how this should impact on the lives of children, young people and families) and to talk about your priorities for the coming two years.
