A City for All Ages – Making Sheffield a Great Place to Grow Old

Can you help make Sheffield the leading age-friendly city in the UK?

Sheffield City Council wants Sheffield to be a city for all ages in which people live healthy, active, independent lives, and enjoy everything that the city has to offer.

What’s happening? Sheffield City Council have put together a document to say how they will do this. Based on what people have already told them, it focuses on our aspirations to make changes for five key themes:

  • Where I live
  • Being part of the community
  • Better health and Wellbeing
  • Excellent care and support
  • Finance, employment and learning for life

Tell us what you think Sheffield City Council want to hear your views about whether you think we have got the right changes in the document, and whether there’s any missing.

They’d also like to know if you or your organisation can commit to making changes to help achieve the aims outlined.
