Alcohol Awareness Week Launch

Alcohol Awareness Week Launch, Monday 19th November 2012, Domino Room- Sheffield Cathedral, 12.30pm – 3pm

Come and join in with the launch of Alcohol Awareness Week (week commencing 19th November 2012) – stalls about the following;

  • Single Entry and Assessment Point (SHSC) for alcohol
  • Turning Point Alcohol Psychosocial Intervention Services
  • Best Bar None/Purple Flag
  • Trading Standards (displaying counterfeit alcohol)
  • Alcoholics Anonymous
  • Al Anon
  • Alcohol Recovery Community
  • Parents as partners/Alcohol bailment scheme
  • The Corner (young people)
  • Communities

Come along any time during the session to visit the above stalls, get information for yourself, people you know, or people you are working with – all welcome.   All stall holders will be available to answer questions and help you leave the event better informed about your own drinking, alcohol treatment in the city, and how alcohol is managed in the city of Sheffield.

Session begins with light refreshments at 12.30pm.  Timetables for the rest of the week’s activities across the city will also be given out at the event.
