Latest on Greno Woods from Sheffield Wildlife Trust

The Wildlife Trust for Sheffield and Rotherham continues its sustainable management of Greno Woods. Starting on August 20th sections of Low Hall Wood and Hall Wood are to be thinned in order to encourage future growth of native broadleaf species.

There may be some ground damage during the course of this work, but all paths will be reinstated upon completion of the works.  Sheffield Wildlife Trust apologise for any disruption caused in the meantime.

If you would like to find out more about the management of this woodland, they will be holding a forestry walk from 7pm on Wednesday 15th August, meeting at the Hall Wood Road entrance.
