The Academies Process

On Wednesday 22 February 2012, the Parental Engagement Team, Sheffield City Council are holding a meeting about the Academies process, in order to help parents and communities to understand what this process might mean.

This will take place at:

The Venue

They have arranged this meeting to answer some of the questions you might have, questions like:

  • How do schools change when they become an academy?
  • What are the benefits for parents and pupils?
  • What are the benefits of my local school becoming an academy?
  • What does it mean for my local community?
  • What does it mean for Sheffield?

The meetings will be open to all, and is your opportunity to find out more, get answers, air your views and learn about Sheffield’s approach.
