South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue – Service Plan Consultation

South Yorkshire Fire & Rescue have a new Service Plan for 2011-13. It outlines how they plan to continue to provide their vital services to the public of South Yorkshire through the challenging times ahead.

Their four priorities for this period have been developed from the feedback they received from last summer’s public consultation. They are:

  • COMMUNITY – Making People Safer – working to prevent emergencies
  • OPERATIONS – Responding to Emergencies – effectively and safely
  • PEOPLE – Valuing People – those we serve and employ
  • FINANCE AND RESOURCES – Maximising Efficiency – making our resources go further

The consultation for this plan ends on Friday 1st July. If you would like to provide any feedback for their consideration, please write to the Temporary Chief Fire Officer, Jamie Courtney at:

SYFRS, 197 Eyre Street, Sheffield, S1 3FG

Or email: serviceplan@syfire.gov.uk
