Have Your Say on Housing in Sheffield

Housing in Sheffield

The Sheffield City Council Housing Strategy Team are currently looking for people’s views on housing in the city and they have asked the Community Assemblies to help promote their online survey.

The current Sheffield City Council Housing Strategy is coming to an end and work has now begun to produce a new plan which will set out how to improve the quality and choice of homes in the city. The new strategy will set out a long-term vision for homes and housing services in the city over the next 10 years.

The survey with Sheffield’s residents is to help the team find out more about some of the issues that people told them were important in the first phase of consultation which was held in the Autumn of 2010. They want to hear your views on what is important for housing, so that they can deliver a housing strategy that addresses the needs of Sheffield’s residents. Click here to complete the survey.

In addition to the main survey, the Housing Strategy Team have created two other surveys. One is specifically for young people aged 16 to 30 to complete and one for the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Trans (LGBT) community to complete. This is to ensure that the views of these communities are heard in their consultation. Click here to complete the young people survey and click here to complete the LGBT survey.
